Tech I/II/III, Agriculture This position is located at the Wiregrass Research & Extension Center in Headland, Alabama. Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: perform various farm tasks such as planting, cultivating, irrigating, harvesting, spraying, and fertilizing; perform routine measurements and analysis on research projects; operate general and specialized farm equipment; assist in cattle feeding, maintenance, and weighing; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. The minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to selection. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated technical excellence, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are also required. The candidate selected for the position must meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States by the start date and continue to work legally for the proposed term of employment.
