EBSCO’s Stacks division in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a new Product Engagement Specialist to join their team. Stacks is a web-based content management system (CMS) that provides librarian’s with everything they need to create and manage digital research experiences. The Product Engagement Specialist’s primary function is developing and delivering customer education and optimization opportunities for Stacks products. This person will create and maintain training outlines, presentations, as well as deliver live, online training for customers. This person is a critical extension of the Stack’s marketing team ensuring the product is being utilized to its maximum potential. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and create new Stacks user manual and training content Provide direction on escalated Support tickets Identify and report defects to the development team Train customers on administration of the Stacks Content Management System (CMS) Assist customers with content creation and site configuration Advise on how to organize, create and display content within Stacks Train/introduce internal teams from time to time on Stacks administration Required Skills: 2+ years of training delivery experience Bachelor’s degree or higher Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Acumen - for development of in-depth technical product knowledge Preferred Skills: CMS experience Experience working with or for a library or research entity Experience writing curriculum or training materials Web/Digital/User Experience Taxonomy/Information Architecture experience
