Reporting to the Dean of the University Libraries, the Director of the Learning Commons provides strategic vision, administrative direction, and operational management of the Learning Commons and FLY (Falcon Learning Your Way) Program.
Provides leadership for the daily operations of the Learning Commons, including the supervision of the Learning Common staff; overseeing the delivery of academic tutoring and writing consultations services; projecting and tracking budget expenditures; coordinating services with campus constituents; developing and overseeing marketing efforts; and carrying out assessment activities related to programs and services.
The director also provides strategic vision for the unit and direction in policy development and implementation, as well as responsibility for developing and maintaining partnerships with academic units.
