Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to lead our 2nd shift team and operate CNC Swiss machines. Our company specializes in Aerospace and medical industries. The candidate will perform setups, input preset programs, or create new ones from scratch. You will also provide direction and support to four other machinists on the 2nd shift. Although the primary focus is on CNC Swiss machines, familiarity with CNC Mills and lathes is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the 2nd shift team of machinists.
- Operate CNC Swiss machines and perform approximately one setup per night, with potential for additional setups depending on the job.
- Input preset programs or create new programs from scratch using Win CNC software.
- Assist machinists with direction, setups, and programming.
- Ensure quality and precision in the machining process.
- Potentially operate other CNC machines, such as Mills and lathes, if needed.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience with CNC Swiss machines, including setup.
- Ability to create programs from scratch or use Win CNC software.
- Desire to take on a lead role with potential for advancement to a supervisory position.
- Experience with CNC Mills or lathes.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
