Assembly Technician – 4 Day work Week – OT Fridays

Job Description:

·Install and mount nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware.

·Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations.

·Read blueprints and engineering specifications.

·Ensure safety requirements and manufacturing quality are met.

·Clean and inspect products for quality standards.

Shift :Monday – Thursday (6am to 4:30pm) OTFridays

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.

·Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.

·Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns.

·Ability to work in a team environment.

·Professional communication skills and ability to follow directions.

Work Environment:

·Manufacturing environment with 160 hourly employees on the floor at one time.

·Facility has expanded multiple times, making it larger on the inside than it appears from the outside.

·Team sizes vary from 6-15 people.

·Physical demands include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders.

·Ability to operate and understand all protective safety equipment in the area.

·Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.

·Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Additional Information:

·Assembly workers can be interchanged throughout the plant. Workers can stay in a preferred area if desired.

·The supervisor, will move employees to different positions if they are not satisfied with their current tasks. He prefers to reassign rather than terminate employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.40/hr.
