Are you a highly organized and client-focused leader with experience in industrial services? We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee key accounts and ensure the successful execution of projects in areas such as emergency response, industrial services, facility decontamination, and site remediation. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, taking ownership of each project to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in identifying and developing potential clients.
- Pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities with assigned clients.
- Conduct site walks to develop work scopes, job estimates, and proposals.
- Ensure projects are executed with safety, quality, and profitability in mind.
- Ensure all contractual terms are in place before starting work.
- Develop and communicate detailed work orders, including documentation of the job scope, budget, safety requirements, and materials.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to schedule and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress by regularly communicating with supervisors and foremen.
- Produce timely and accurate invoices, and monitor collections for your assigned jobs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Expertise in at least one core competency, such as emergency response, industrial services, facility decontamination, or site remediation.
- Broad understanding of other core competencies and their requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees, and management.
- Excellent multitasking, supervisory, and time management abilities.
- Experience analyzing job costs and managing profit and loss.
- Ability to serve as an external representative of the company.
- Willingness to work beyond regular hours when necessary.
- Ability to travel overnight as required.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory or account management experience in the industry.
- Commitment to ongoing education and training in occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks, substance screening, and ongoing verifications.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
