We are seeking a 1st Shift Assembler to join our Aerospace division, where we manufacture, test, and inspect aluminum heat pipes. This role involves a variety of tasks, including machine operation, overseeing saw processes, and performing detailed cleaning and inspections of aluminum pipes. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm) with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities
- Assist machine operator by selecting the correct program and starting the machine.
- Oversee saw operation process to ensure aluminum pipes are cut to meet exact specifications.
- Handle and clean aluminum pipes according to precise specifications, ensuring each piece is managed with care.
- Perform testing and inspections, including leak testing.
- Sit at a sanding station to perform sanding and polishing duties on each aluminum heat pipe.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Machine shop experience is a plus.
- Experience with brazing, soldering, inspection, and machine operation.
- GED or Diploma.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
