- Supervision: Ensuring constant supervision of children to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Childcare: Providing basic care, such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with nap time.
- Education and Development: Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children.
- Communication: Regularly communicating with parents or guardians regarding a child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Safety and Health: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and addressing any health or safety issues promptly.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts between children and fostering positive social interactions.
- Record Keeping: Keeping accurate records of children's activities, developmental milestones, and any incidents.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesiv and supportive team environment.
- Emergency Response: Being trained and prepared to respond to emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Being aware and respectful of cultural and individual differences among children and their families.
- Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in childcare.

- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Strong classroom management
- loving and nurturing
- strong organizationAl skills
- Basic knowledge of Special Education
- Bilingual (Spanish) A plus
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in early intervention or literacy education is a plus
