Job DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an Application Developer in the Investment Management industry, based in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves designing and developing applications, working with Azure cloud services, and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, and Azure cloud services
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, or similar frameworks
• Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable and secure microservices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code adhering to OOP, SOLID, and clean architecture principles
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and perform root cause analysis
• Assist in the modernization of legacy applications to align with current best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop RESTful APIs and Azure Function Apps to support event-driven workflows and system integrations.• Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in application development within the investment management industry or similar fields
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is a crucial requirement for this role
• Strong skills in backend development are necessary for successful performance in this role
• Experience in bug tracking is a crucial part of this role
• Knowledge and experience with client-side scripting is required
• Familiarity with cross-platform development is a significant advantage in this role
• Ability to perform AB testing effectively is a critical skill for this role
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology is necessary for this position
• Proficiency in Ajax is a must for this role
• Experience in API development is a significant requirement for this position
• Applicant must possess strong CSS skills
