Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and enhancing a legacy system built with Adobe ColdFusion, ensuring its continued functionality and reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working on complex, long-standing systems.

Responsibilities:
• Address and resolve bugs reported in the legacy system using Adobe ColdFusion.
• Manage incoming support tickets and ensure timely troubleshooting and fixes.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain operational stability of the existing software.
• Perform code reviews and updates to improve system performance and reliability.
• Work within an Agile Scrum framework to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub for tracking and managing development activities.
• Develop and maintain backend components to support system functionality.
• Implement and test APIs to ensure seamless integration with other software.
• Apply best practices in software development, including AB Testing and bug tracking methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address system issues.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, particularly with Adobe ColdFusion.
• Proficiency in backend development and debugging legacy systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Jira and GitHub for project management and version control.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with C++, ASP.NET, Ajax, and API development.
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems and techniques to ensure software quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
