Job Description:

VocoVision is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to provide virtual services for K-12 students in New York. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful impact on students mental health and academic success.

As a School Psychologist with Vocovision, you will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to assess, intervene, and support the mental and emotional well-being of students. You will use your expertise to help develop individualized education plans (IEPs), conduct assessments, and collaborate with other professionals to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students with emotional, behavioral, or academic concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies to support students mental health and educational needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, counseling sessions, and student progress.
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology and mental health.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Active licensure as a School Psychologist in NY.
• Previous experience working in a school setting (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Proficiency with virtual platforms and technology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
