Job Title: Knowledge Manager (A2R Program – Financial Audit Support for PP&E)


Job Highlights:

· Name of Contract/Program: Acquire to Retire (A2R) Program Management Financial Audit Support Services for Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E)

· Remaining Length of Contract: Base (5/9/2025 – 5/8/2026) plus 4 options (ending 5/8/2030)

· Clearance: TS-SCI Indoctrinated (must have already been granted SCI access and read into an SCI program) OR have a CI or FS Poly (Ideally prior work and clearance with DIA, or at minimum Intelligence Community)

· Work Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; 200 MacDill Blvd SE, Washington DC (On-site)

· Work Hours: 0800–1700 EST

· Accept W2 Only


Position Overview

BizFirst is seeking a Knowledge Manager to join our client's team in support of the Acquire to Retire (A2R) Program Management Financial Audit Support Services for Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.


Key Responsibilities


Functions

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy for property accounting controls and property accountability.
  • Design and maintain taxonomies and ontologies for property accounting and management.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of property accounting knowledge and best practices.
  • Create and curate content, such as articles, videos, and podcasts, on property accounting and management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of property accounting knowledge and best practices.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to property accounting system controls and procedures.
  • Track compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge management dashboard and reporting system.
  • Conduct regular knowledge management audits and assessments.
  • Build a knowledge management governance framework.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on property accounting data management.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge management community of practice for property accounting and management.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management, accounting, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, taxonomies, and ontologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with knowledge management software and tools, such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Wiki.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
