We are looking for a dedicated full-time IT Technician to join our team in West Ashley, South Carolina. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in providing hands-on technical support, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth operations for our clients. This role requires regular travel to client sites and offers an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in IT support.
Responsibilities:
• Travel to client locations to install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking on various devices such as laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service visits, equipment inspections, and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams to address and resolve complex challenges.
• Monitor system performance to ensure compliance with security protocols and operational efficiency.
• Set up new workstations, apply necessary updates, and assist in office relocations or expansions.
• Manage inventory of tools and equipment required for on-site support.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure all IT systems are functioning optimally.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support; certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including routers and switches.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
