Full-Time School Psychologist Opportunity North Platte, NE Area
School-Based Role for the Current Academic Year
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified School Psychologists for a full-time position in partnership with school districts in the North Platte, NE area. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about supporting student development and promoting positive learning environments.
Position Requirements
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements for school-based practice in Nebraska:

Hold a Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program

Possess a valid Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) Special Services Certificate with an endorsement in School Psychology
-
Must have completed a state-approved internship or hold equivalent supervised experience as required by NDE
-
Prior experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting is required
-
Must pass all required background checks, fingerprinting, and employment screenings in compliance with state and district policies

Only applicants meeting all certification and experience criteria will be considered
Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to support eligibility for special education services
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop appropriate intervention strategies
-
Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide individual and group counseling services to support students academic and social-emotional needs
-
Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management planning
-
Support data collection and analysis for progress monitoring and student assessments
